For five days in January, regular secondary classes will be suspended, and our secondary students will take part in an intensive course of study. Activities are planned to take students into new cultures and settings, expose them to the needy world around us all, use Biblical discernment in a variety of situations, build character and problem solving skills, learn about sacrifices made throughout History, bless others though hospitality and service, and expand on their acquired life skill sets. Students will choose classes designed to provide enriched learning both on and off campus. Mini-Term course offerings will vary from a mission trip to Mexico, to local internships in areas ranging from teaching to sound technology, as well as life skill courses. The Mini-Term is a requirement for graduation, and we trust that the students will enjoy a different kind of hands-on learning.
