GOALS for NCCS Graduates
North County Christian School will prepare its graduates in major fours
areas in the following ways:
Christian Values
- Students will be challenged to grow in love, knowledge of,
and service to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Students will be provided with a clear model of Biblical Christianity.
- Students will perceive the value and purpose in life based
upon a Biblical Christian worldview.
Students will learn how to apply scripture and Biblical truth as
a guide for life. |
Academics
- Students will possess essential knowledge and practice meaningful
integration across academic disciplines.
- The teaching faculty aspires that all students meet or exceed
the California State standards and requirements in language arts,
history, science and math. (Standards that are compatible with
a Christian world view.)
- Students will be challenged to aspire to excellence in academics.
- Students will demonstrate competent critical thinking, creative
expression, and problem solving skills.
Students will be given the opportunity to prepare for a four]year
university of their choice.

Personal and Social
- Students will demonstrate respect for self and others,
- Students will accept responsibility for their own actions.
- Students will be given the tools to resolve conflicts through
Biblical directives.
Students will be encouraged to become responsible citizens who conduct
themselves with personal integrity. |
Aesthetics
- Students will be given opportunities to demonstrate and develop
skills in the arts and in sports.
- Students will be able to identify and develop their own God
given talents.
- Students will have a working knowledge of various aesthetic
media including art, music, drama, recitals, oral history, and
storytelling.
Students will show respect for the talents that they possess as well
as the talents of their peers. |
